With training camp just around the corner, we are previewing each player on the LA Kings roster. Up next: Ryan O’Hara!

Height: 5’10

Position: Left wing/center

*NOTE: Starting this past Sunday (8/23/2026), my Mom picked the order of the training camp player previews for the Reign players because I couldn’t figure out what order to do them in. So, I asked for her assistance. Today, she chose Ryan O’Hara!

2025-26 season

Forward Ryan O’Hara didn’t play a game for the Ontario Reign in 2025-26. Instead, he spent the entire campaign with the LA Kings’ ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Swamp Rabbits. Many of you reading this are probably unfamiliar with O’Hara, so we will do our best here to get you more familiar with him.

After four years at Bowling Green State University, including being team captain as a senior, O’Hara turned pro near the end of the 2024-25 season with the Swamp Rabbits. In 10 games, recording three points (1 G, 2 A).

O’Hara’s first full professional season (2025-26), in my eyes, was viewed as a successful one. In 72 games, the forward finished second on the team in scoring with 42 points (15 G, 27 A) on a struggling Greenville team that finished 12th in the Eastern Conference.
