Lukas Reichel was injured during Team Germany's 5-2 victory over Team Norway on May 13. Scott Powers reported that the injury doesn't appear to be serious. However, Reichel will miss the remainder of the 2025 IIHF Men's World Championship. He scored one goal and three assists in three games.

While playoff hockey provides the most exciting action on the ice, it's easy to overlook the World Championship. Let's check in on how the Chicago Blackhawks representatives are performing.

Team USA

Team USA has won three games and lost one. Their last game was a 6-5 overtime win against Team Norway. Frank Nazar scored two goals and two assists across four games. Cutter Gauthier (Anaheim Ducks) and Logan Cooley (Utah Mammoth) lead the team with five points. Alex Vlasic has two assists in four games.

Team Sweden

Arvid Soderblom is the lone Hawk on Team Sweden and is their third goaltender. Soderblom hasn't played a game yet. Team Sweden has won all four games as of the morning of May 15. Elias Lindholm (Boston Bruins) leads the team in points with six.

Team Finland

Team Finland has played four games, winning three and losing one. Their latest victory was a 9-1 over Team Slovenia. Teuvo Teravainen has one goal and seven assists. Prior to the win over Slovenia, Teuvo only had two points. Now he leads the tournament in points. Just a reminder that four of Finland's best players are on the Dallas Stars.
