The Toronto Maple Leafs have not made their tickets affordable to fans, and now those fans are outraged after massive price rises were announced for next season.

It's been known for quite some time that ticket prices for the Toronto Maple Leafs are some of the worst in the entire NHL, and while they've got the draw of the big city and the star players, it's not been easy on the hardcore fans.

Unfortunately, things have reportedly gotten worse, as it has now been revealed by The Athletic that season ticket prices are set to rise for next season, and in some cases, that price hike is as much as 20%.

Maple Leafs fans were hit with sticker shock when they received their 2025-26 season ticket renewal notices. While price hikes are expected, some packages have increased by over 20% in certain sections. Frustrated fans voiced their concerns to The Athletic, with many questioning how much longer they can afford to attend games.

Somehow, MLSE, the ownership group of the team have defended the pricing, telling reporters that previous regimes undersold the pricing in some areas, and given the rise in the market, they believe it is justified.

This is an arena that has long drawn criticism as one of the quietest in the entire NHL, as hardcore, dedicated fans are either relegated to the cheap seats or priced out of the arena completely.

On top of all of this, fans have called out the fact that this team has won just one series over the past two decades, icing a sub par product most of the time while prices still shoot through the roof, and while it's unlikely to change, hopefully the team reconsider these terrible price increased before next season.
