After a well-deserved day off, the Montreal Canadiens players were back at practice in the past few hours, live from Brossard.
There are some interesting takeaways, including Kaiden Guhle practicing in a regular jersey:
'Habs defenceman Kaiden Guhle taking part in his first full practice this morning in Brossard since having surgery to repair lacerated quadricep muscle on Jan. 29'- Stu Cowan
There was also Cole Caufield, Emil Heineman, and Lane Hutson, who had a short development session:
And finally, Martin St-Louis did what Martin St-Louis does.
We know that MSL is probably the NHL coach who spends the most one-on-one time talking with his players.
It's one of the things that makes him unique and one of the things his players really appreciate.
This morning, he had a good chat with Jayden Struble:
However, it was a conversation with Joel Armia that drew a bit more attention.
As reported by Marc-Olivier Cook, something seemed to happen, as St-Louis appeared to go over to Armia to make sure he was OK.
'Conversation between Joel Armia and MSL.I get the sense that the coach wants to make sure his player is alright, reminder that Armia hasn't been 100% since the game in Vancouver.'
It's a situation to keep an eye on, but if Joel Armia is indeed bothered by something, it doesn't seem too serious, as he took part in today's practice.
In any case, it's something to watch closely ahead of tomorrow's game against the Blues, live from St. Louis.
