We have an interesting announcement involving Montreal Canadiens forward Joel Armia. Few people would have predicted such a scenario, but Finland has just announced that Armia will be back in the lineup today and that the excellent Teuvo Teravainen will be the one to sit out.
Wow.
It's incredible, because not long ago, Joel Armia was placed on waivers by the Montreal Canadiens, while Teravainen was an all-star player with the Carolina Hurricanes.
Things have changed so quickly!
Today, Finland considers Armia to be a better player for them and a player who gives them a better chance of beating Canada.

'Finland is bringing Joel Armia back into their lineup.. He will replace Teuvo Teravainen.'- Elliotte Friedman, Sportsnet
It promises to be exciting!
This season in the National Hockey League, Armia, 31 years old, has 24 points in 56 games with the Montreal Canadiens (10 goals).
In recent seasons, he's had 25 points, 14 points, 14 points, and 14 points.
Teravainen, 30 years old, has 40 points in 55 games this season with the Chicago Blackhawks (12 goals).
In recent seasons, he's had 53 points, 37 points, and 65 points.
It's an interesting decision by Finland, but I can't say I dislike this choice, which is great for the Canadiens as well as for Armia's trade value.
And you, what's your prediction for the Canada vs. Finland matchup today, live from TD Garden in Boston?
