Hello everyone. We hope you’re enjoying a wonderful Christmas morning and hopefully are taking a break from the realities of a slumping Toronto Maple Leafs team. We’re very thankful for your continued support of The Leafs Nation, as we continue our aim to provide best-in-industry coverage of the club.
We’re really lucky at The Leafs Nation to get to discuss this team with you, through our editorials and news. It’s been awesome to see Leafs Morning Take and Leafs After Dark turn into destinations where fans and analysts alike can get together to discuss what’s going on with this team, and there’s certainly been a lot to go over during what’s been a disappointing season for the Buds.
There aren’t any games until the 27th, when the Maple Leafs host the Ottawa Senators for another edition of the Battle of Ontario. And we all know how it went last spring! Although the Senators enter this contest on a four-game winning streak at the time of this filing, I’m confident the Leafs can extinguish their provincial rival, at least for one night, once again. We’ll continue to have content throughout the holiday break, and we’re excited to continue to share it with you.
I love going to the movies in my spare time, and it may be a bit difficult to lobby my parents to see Marty Supreme, and the new Bradley Cooper movie, Is This Thing On? may win out. You’ll catch me at the TIFF Lightbox watching One Battle After Another on Boxing Day, the year’s best film and perhaps my favourite movie ever. And now we’re spiralling a bit out of control here.
Thanks again for your continued support of The Leafs Nation. We’ll be here for every step of the way during this turbulent 2025-26 season and beyond.
