New Montreal Canadien Ivan Demidov Signs Record-Breaking Contract With Top Equipment Brand

In fact, it has gotten so wild that Dan Milstein, the agent of Demidov and many other players in the NHL has admitted that the excitement is on a level that he's never seen before.

"Yes, we've already signed a major sponsorship deal - with Warrior Sports. It's the biggest in Warrior's history. They've said Ivan will be their most important client. Today, he's playing in Bauer gear, but starting next season, he'll switch to Warrior for three years and become the face of their brand."

While the hype is absolutely justified, as Demidov has the ability to be a top player in the NHL one day, this shows just how much not only the team and the fans believe in him, but brands as well, and brands like that aren't often willing to shell out money until it's a proven commodity.

On Monday night against Chicago, we finally see Ivan Demidov in the NHL, and after all of this hype, the pressure is on the 19-year old to perform, and if he does, there will be many more deals like this in the future.
