The Dallas Stars haven't even hit the ice for the 2025-26 season, but some analysts are already mapping out their playoff run.

On social media, Stars Countdown posted what they called a "way too early" Stanley Cup prediction, and it has Stars fans buzzing.

The bold projection doesn't just have Dallas surviving the Western Conference gauntlet, it has them winning the Stanley Cup in a dramatic fashion.

Dallas Stars predicted to beat four contenders on the road to the Stanley Cup

According to the prediction, the Stars will open the postseason against the Los Angeles Kings and finish the series in five games.

From there, Dallas would face the Edmonton Oilers in Round 2, a rematch of the past two Western Conference Finals.

The projection calls for Dallas to finally get over the hump, winning in seven games.

Round 3 wouldn't get any easier, as the Stars are matched against the Colorado Avalanche.

The analyst predicted another seven-game thriller, with Dallas pulling out the win in overtime of Game 7.

Finally, in the Stanley Cup Final, the Stars would face the Toronto Maple Leafs, and close things out in six games to claim the Cup.

"Stars in 5. Stars in 7. Stars in 7 (OT). Stars in 6," the post read, mapping out each series as if the path were already written.

For a team that has fallen short in the Western Conference Final three years in a row, this kind of prediction feels both daring and exciting.

I think it's the kind of confidence fans want to hear. even if it's just August.
