NHL best bets: Three Same Game Parlays for NHL's Friday slate

We went two for three on our hockey SGPs yesterday, so we'll run back a similar approach here with Friday's three games. Each game offers shot opportunity on at least one side, and we're opting for some modest stacks once again to capitalize on the Same Game Parlay offering on FanDuel.

Devils SGP (+106 FD)

New Jersey is averaging north of 38 shots per game on the road over the last 10 while Buffalo is seeing more than 33 shots/game against them at home. Over the past seven trips to Buffalo, the Devils are averaging 40 SOG/game.

Jack Hughes 3+

  • 3+ shots in 76% of games this year and 26 of his last 30 games
  • Five and six SOG in last two meetings with Buffalo

Dougie Hamilton 2+

  • 2+ shots in 82% of games this year and 80% on the road
  • Averaging 4.6 SOG/game over his last five games
  • 2+ shots in nine straight vs. Buffalo and 20 of 25 career games vs. Sabres

Nico Hischier 2+

  • 2+ shots in 79% of games this year and 79% on the road
  • 2+ in six straight vs. Buffalo and nine of last 10

Jesper Bratt 2+

  • 2+ shots in 75% of games this year and 11 straight games
  • 2+ shots in 10 of last 13 games vs. Buffalo

Islanders SGP (+164 FD)

One has to think the Islanders can get their shots off here. Columbus is allowing 33.6 shots per game at home over their last 10, and New York has averaged 35.3 shots/game over the past three meetings with the Blue Jackets.

Bo Horvat 3+

  • 3+ shots in eight of last 10 games
  • 3+ shots in 60% of road games this season, including five of his last six
  • 4.3 SOG/game vs. Columbus over the past four meetings

Noah Dobson 2+

  • 2+ shots in 74% of games this year
  • 2+ shots in 10 of last 12 games
  • 2+ shots in five of last six vs. Columbus
  • Blue Jackets allowing third-most shots to defensemen over past 10 games

Anders Lee 2+

  • 2+ shots in seven of last nine games, averaging 3.2 shots/game in that stretch
  • 2+ shots in 71% of road games this year
  • 2+ shots in eight of last nine vs. Columbus

Arizona-Colorado SGP (+110 FD)

Colorado should have no issues getting shots off. They average 33.1 shots per game at home over the last 10 while Arizona is allowing 37.4 per game on the road in the same stretch. There are also power plays likely coming for both ends, and there's one player on Arizona that seems like a good inclusion in this one.

Nathan MacKinnon 4+

  • Averages 5.2 SOG/game this year, 4+ shots in 69% of games and 71% at home
  • Averaging 6.5 SOG/game over the past two seasons vs. Arizona
  • Colorado PP shot leader

Mikko Rantanen 3+

  • 3+ shots in 64% of games this year
  • Averaging 4.5 SOG/game last six games
  • 3+ shots in eight of last 10 vs. Arizona
  • Second on team in PP shots

Valeri Nichushkin 2+

  • 2+ shots in 73% of games this year
  • 2+ shots in 10 of last 13 vs. Arizona and 4+ shots in three of last four meetings

Clayton Keller 2+

  • 2+ in 71% of games this year and 24 of last 30 games
  • Averaging 3.6 SOG/game last 10 games
  • Arizona's PP shot leader
  • 2+ shots in 14 of last 15 on the road
  • Two shots in both games vs. Colorado this year
