NHL bets: We still think goals can come in Edmonton-Dallas

Game 1 between Edmonton and Dallas went to double-overtime and saw five total goals. I was certainly anticipating a bit more scoring, and I do still believe both sides can push 3+ goals here in Dallas.

I'm maintaining an approach built around scoring with a pair of point props, this time a couple of solos. Feel free to run back both combos I highlighted in Game 1, I still believe in both of them (Zach Hyman/Evan Bouchard and Jason Robertson/Miro Heiskanen).

Tyler Seguin point (+105 DraftKings)

I am extremely surprised to see sportsbooks hanging this price on Tyler Seguin to get involved in another goal. Seguin and Dallas' third line of he, Jamie Benn and Evgeni Dadonov were easily the team's most productive players in their Game 1 loss.

Seguin ended up scoring twice, and both Benn and Dadonov got involved on separate assists. The trio all sit atop the team in high-danger scoring chances and expected goals from Thursday's game, and I'll gladly back them to continue finding lanes in a game they have to have.

Seguin now has seven points in his last six games and seven points in his past eight meetings with Edmonton.

+105? Yes please, and I like both of Benn and Dadonov also.

Leon Draisaitl over 1.5 points (+152 FanDuel)

I continue to see two things on the Oilers' end that I really like. First, I do still like their top power-play unit to find a goal if they can get even just two opportunities to skate a man up. Draisaitl has been dominant on the power play when given chances, and should they capitalize on this edge I see, he's very likely involved.

The second thing that continues to shine is that Edmonton's second line has been their most productive during even-strength play. It's actually Dylan Holloway who I really want a piece of, I'm probably going to place a small bet on his goal in this one. In such a world where Holloway does net one, Draisaitl is most likely assisting him. I also really liked Evander Kane to score prior to Game 1, and his volume suggests he's still going to be finding his spots.

Draisaitl centers the line with both of them as his wings, and given my love for them to produce and my lean on Edmonton's power play, I'm loading up the common denominator of both spots.

Draisaitl is over this line in nine of 13 games this postseason.
