NHL Injuries: Dallas Stars center Tyler Seguin expected to be done for season

Lia Assimakopoulos : Dallas Stars coach Glen Gulutzan said that forward Tyler Seguin is expected to miss the rest of the season with an ACL injury.

  • Sean Shapiro: “Rough news for Seguin. Stars also now have a lot of options though at deadline assuming the LTIR factor with Seguin’s cap hit.”

NHL: Stars forward Matt Duchene is getting close to returning to the lineup. He was injured back on October 14th and has missed 23 consecutive games and 24 of 25.

Zach Dooley: Los Angeles Kings forward Warren Foegele and defenseman Drew Doughty were full participants in practice yesterday. Foegele was previously in a no-contact jersey.

Peter Baugh: New York Rangers forward Adam Edstrom didn’t practice yesterday and is listed as day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Adam Kimelman: Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Cam York left last night’s game in the second period with a lower-body injury.

Pens Inside Scoop: Pittsburgh Penguins forwards Justin Brazeau and Noel Acciari were full participants in practice yesterday. Brazeau has missed 13 games with an upper-body injury, and Acciari 11 games with an upper-body injury.

Max Miller: Washington Capitals defenseman John Carlson missed last night’s game with a lower-body injury, and it’s not expected to be long-term. Forward Justin Sourdif also missed last night’s game with a lower-body injury, and it’s not expected to be long-term, but they’re still waiting for more info.

Mitchell Clinton: Winnipeg Jets coach Scott Arniel said that goaltender Connor Hellebuyck is close to getting back on the ice, but his timeline hasn’t changed at all. They are going to be cautious with him.

Arniel: “I’m going to make sure he has four yellow (non-contact) jerseys on.”

Mitchell Clinton: Jets defenseman Neal Pionk returned to the lineup last night.
