NHL Thursday bets: Points props to target

We found ourselves in the green on Wednesday night's points plays with a big parlay hit from Dylan Strome and Valeri Nichuskin, so let's go ahead and keep it rolling.

There are 10 games tonight in the NHL, but only a few I like for goals. As such, I've identified two standalone point plays and one parlay. Let's get to it.

Anders Lee (-120 FD)

The Islanders have been rolling lately, averaging 4.4 goals per game in their past five home games. They'll get a Detroit team on the opposite end that has leaked in goals on a continuous basis.

In their past five on the road, the Red Wings are seeing 4.0 goals scored against them.

You have to love that intersection of averages over four, and with a significant power play edge for the Islanders, this is a great game to look to points.

I like Anders Lee, a member of New York's top line and top power-play line.

Lee has 13 points in his last nine games and one-plus point in six straight games.

Ryan Hartman (-128 FD)

Hartman has been a popular feature in recent plays, and he remains one of the steadiest options on Minnesota lately.

Hartman has a point in eight of his last 10 games and four in his last three home games.

I like the Wild to score Thursday, averaging 3.4 goals per game in their last five at home. Vancouver is on a back-to-back and letting in 3.4 goals in their past five on the road.

Give me Hartman, who centers Minnesota's top line, with extremely favorable odds.

Parlay: Nikolaj Ehlers and David Perron (+164 DK)

I really like this parlay combination between two players absolutely rolling, in good spots for goals.

Let's start with Ehlers, who has one-plus point in 12 straight home games. He's been great regardless of location, with a point in nine of his last ten games.

Winnipeg is averaging 4.2 goals per game in their last five home games while Ottawa is giving up 3.8 goals per game in their past five away tilts.

I expect the Jets to pile them on Thursday, and Ehlers has been rock-solid here.

David Perron is equally on fire. Perron has 20 points in his last 13 games, including one-plus in seven straight games.

Against a Philadelphia team letting in 4.6 goals per game on the road in their past five, I like Perron to keep it rolling for St. Louis.

Love the odds here at +164 for two guys stacking points.

Best of luck Thursday night!
