The Ottawa Senators and the Los Angeles Kings made an AHL swap tonight as the Kings sent defenseman Samuel Bolduc to the Senators in exchange for forward Jan Jenik. Bolduc will report to Belleville of the AHL while Jenik will report to Ontario of the AHL. Bolduc this season for Ontario in 56 games has 21 points on five goals and 16 assists. He’s a plus-seven with two power-play goals and two game-winning goals. Jenik in 41 games this has 17 points on nine goals and eight assists. He’s even in plus/minus with a power-play goal, a shorthanded goal, and three game-winning goals.

Bolduc spent his first five seasons in Bridgeport appearing in 211 games. He had 92 points on 28 goals and 64 assists. He was a -40 with nine power-play goals and two game-winning goals. The Islanders drafted him 57th overall in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
The Arizona Coyotes drafted Jenik 65th overall in 2018. He spent four seasons with the Tucson Roadrunners. In 165 games he had 120 points on 46 goals and 74 assists. He was a -31 with 16 power-play goals and four game-winning goals. In two seasons with Belleville, he has appeared in 93 games recording 46 points on 21 goals and 25 assists. He’s a minus-one with three power-play goals, two shorthanded goals, and four game-winning goals. In five Calder Cup Playoff games all with Tucson, he has a goal and two assists; he’s a minus-two.
