Brad Marchand and Game 7 have become one of the better pairings in NHL history. The Florida Panthers star seems to step up in the biggest of games, and did so once again for his team.

Facing the tough reality of playing a Game 7 on the road against the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Panthers didn't flinch. In fact, they blew Toronto off their home ice once again.

Much of that had to do with Marchand and the three-point night that he put together for the team. The veteran star never loses sight of what's in front of him, and it's helped him along the way.

Marchand has been used to doing this to the Maple Leafs over his career, and he always seems to have the answer for his team. His old teammates understand that better than anyone.

“No surprise! He always steps up and comes up clutch in the big moments,” Bruins legend Patrice Bergeron said via text message Sunday night of his longtime pal. “He’s done it his whole career and is doing it again now. I’m really happy for all of his success right now.”

While this is the first time that Marchand is helping a team other than the Bruins, his former teammate couldn't be happier. Florida has found success with Marchand, and the mid-season trade for him has definitely paid off.

Marchand has scored three goals and 12 assists for the Panthers during this playoff run, helping to lead this team. Florida is looking to repeat itself as a Stanley Cup champion, and if it continues to play in this manner, it could very well happen.
