The Pittsburgh Penguins 2024-25 season draws a little closer. Monday, the team announced their seven-game preseason schedule, which will begin on Sept. 21 with a game against the Buffalo Sabres at Key Bank Arena.
The Penguins will play seven preseason games but only three at home. The Penguins’ first preseason home game is Sept. 24 at PPG Paints Arena, and they’ll quickly travel to Detroit for a game against the Red Wings the following day at Little Caesars Arena.
The Penguins development camp is July 6-10, and the training camp/preseason should feature a few of those players. The team has not yet announced a full roster for development camp and rosters for training camp are typically announced in the days preceding camp.
The Penguins schedule also includes the Kraft Hockeyville game against the Ottawa Senators. The location has not yet been announced, though it will be in the eastern Ontario area.
