The Pittsburgh Penguins and Dallas Stars agreed to a trade this afternoon, as the Dallas Stars are trading defenseman Matt Dumba to the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Stars are also sending a 2028 second-round draft pick to the Penguins, all in exchange for defenseman Vladislav Kolyachonok. The trade made sense for the Penguins, who had ten left-handed defensemen under contract for the 2025-26 season.
