Report: Altitude TV, Comcast Dispute Could Be Coming to an End

The Altitude TV dispute with Comcast could finally be coming to an end, according to a report from local Avalanche reporter Jesse Montano of Guerilla Sports.

Montano said the new agreement would allow customers to add Altitude TV to any Xfinity cable package. An announcement could be made as soon as Tuesday.

Avalanche and Nuggets fans have been unable to watch their local teams on Comcast and Xfinity services for more than a half-decade. The stalemate between Comcast and Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, the ownership of both teams, dragged through the COVID pause and still didn’t reach its end during a two-year span where the Avs won the Stanley Cup and the Nuggets were crowned NBA champions.

Last fall, Altitude TV announced a new streaming app — Altitude+ — which allows fans to watch both teams and all other Altitude Sports products for $19.95/month. The Altitude+ schedule also includes a subset of games offered on two over-the-air local broadcast networks – KUSA and My20.
