SUNRISE — The Florida Panthers got a little measure of revenge against the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday night thanks to Sergei Bobrovsky and some timely goals.
Bobrovsky made 30 saves for his second shutout of the season in leading the Panthers to a 3-0 win.
Los Angeles had been 7-0-1 against the Panthers in the past eight games, including a 2-1 win last Wednesday.
This Wednesday, Sam Bennett gave the Panthers a 1-0 lead in the first.
It stayed that way until Sasha Barkov scored off Matthew Tkachuk’s second primary assist of the night on a 5-on-3 power play in the third.
Tkachuk had a three-point night, scoring into an empty net with 1:12 left.
Florida moved into first place in the Atlantic Division standings with the win.
