Does Sidney Crosby know how good the beer is in Montreal? I say this because the star player recently confessed that after a win, he likes a good cold beer. It wasthe first time Crosby had opened the door to such a “vice” publicly. And even though he qualified it (by not saying if there’s a game the next day), he showed another side of his personality.

But yesterday, talking about beer wasn’t the only thing that’s “new” for Sid the Kid.
We say that because opening the door, for the first time in his career, to the possibility of finishing his career somewhere other than the Penguins… that feels different.

Before, Crosby systematically refused to get involved. But yesterday? With Pierre LeBrun, the Penguins franchise player didn’t close the door on a trade. And we can agree that The Athletic’s post focused on the Canadiens… [content-ads]Because yes, seeing Sidney Crosby and Pat Brisson talking about the possibility of him not finishing his career with the Penguins is a big deal. Pat Brisson isn’t the last guy on the block, after all… Is Brisson using the Habs publicly like he did with Pierre-Luc Dubois a few years ago? I don’t think Crosby needs any leverage in potential negotiations (if he wants to go somewhere, all he has to do is ask), but… But the question arises in relation to Pat Brisson, even if he wouldn’t say anything publicly without his famous client’s approval.
Josh Yohe: Re Crosby rumours: I don’t really think he’s gonna go anywhere, but I probably think it’s more possible than I did a year or two ago; I doubt Pat Brisson would…say stuff like that without Sid’s consent – Kevin Karius Show (9/9)

[content-ads]If Crosby is ever traded, we agree that the names of the same teams often come up. The Canadiens, the Kings and the Avalanche are the three most popular names at the moment, and Crosby is keeping abreast of what’s going on in those cities. Renaud Lavoie, who discussed the subject on the heels of his morning column on BPM Sports with Anthony Desaulniers, Anthony Marcotte and Gilbert Delorme, said that when he saw Crosby yesterday in Vegas, the latter came to talk to him about a very specific aspect. What was it? The fact that there are already quite a few people in Brossard, even though camp hasn’t started yet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STVGtr6YHgw Crosby is a winner and a guy who changes a culture for the better when he arrives in a dressing room. It must impress Crosby to see that the guys are buying into Nick Suzuki, Martin St-Louis and HuGo’s plan, and it impressed him enough to talk to Renaud Lavoie about it.content-ads]Crosby isn’t the kind of guy who likes change, but he does like winning. And if, at some point, he feels that winning is too important, he might ask to leave Pennsylvania. How much the Olympics will fuel his desire to play in the playoffs remains to beseenThat remains to be seen, but if he feels that Montreal is the place to do it, he might give it more serious consideration. After all, we’ve seen how open he’s become to the idea of leaving Pittsburgh. On this subject, Pierre McGuire, who was on the Sick Podcast yesterday, said he thought it would take “more than Michael Hage, David Reinbacher and a first-round pick” to convince the Penguins to let their legendary player go. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ilTDjvMnBA [spacer title=’en rafale’]- Enjoy. https://youtu.be/k_SckDVQx5o?si=H2jQnyHuZlSWFkLC – Daniel Brière believes in Trevor Zegras.
