It's been 68 days since the Minnesota Wild were bounced from the playoffs, but another chance at glory begins when training camp for the 2025-26 season opens in 72 days.
Camp begins Sept. 18, followed by the first of six preseason games just three days later. The full preseason schedule was released by the Wild on Tuesday morning.
What Minnesota's roster looks like next season remains a work in progress, but the only moves of significance thus far have been trading for veteran forward Vladimir Tarasenko and reuniting with forward Nico Sturm via free agency.
Other than that, the Wild appear willing to run it back with a core featuring Kirill Kaprizov (likely on a new contract), Joel Eriksson Ek, Matt Boldy, Mats Zuccarello, Jonas Brodin, Brock Faber and Filip Gustavsson.
