The Cup is in the building for tonight's Game 4, and based on what we've seen thus far, this could certainly be the last hockey article of our season.
We've been splitting our prop looks all week, and I for one would very much love to deliver you all some winners as we await the next (and perhaps final) installment of this year's Stanley Cup Final.
Candidly, we've reached the point of this postseason where it's a lot of rinse and repeat in the prop market, there's only so many options and so many angles we can take.
Both Tarasenko and Bouchard are guys I've gotten behind before, and they're delivering, so why in the world would I stop now?
Tarasenko has been arguably Florida's best even-strength player, leading the team in shots. He's finished with SOG totals of two, three and four thus far, and with steady volume I expect another productive evening for the Panthers forward.
As for Bouchard, what is there left to say? The Oilers defenseman has an absurd 37 shot attempts through six games, tallying 12 SOG through three games. There's every reason to believe he just keeps ripping as Edmonton looks to avoid being swept in their own barn.
Ekblad blocks seems to me like a tremendous option to continue backing, as he's now gone over this line in every game this series and five straight overall. The Panthers defenseman has averaged 4.0 blocks in that five-game stretch, giving us some nice breathing room to work with on this 1.5 line.
As for Bouchard again, he's hit this prop in two straight and has 2+ blocked shots in nine of 10 at home this postseason. While the Oilers have the "desperate" tag that you'd think leads to shots, there's every reason to believe Florida is just as motivated to put this thing away and win a Stanley Cup. I see plenty of shot attempts on both ends for Game 4.
