The 'American-born NHL points leaders' quiz

After 1,342 games, Detroit Red Wings winger Patrick Kane stands alone amongst American point-scorers in NHL history.

Kane, who became the 50th member of the 500-goal club earlier this season, got his 1,375th point on an assist to Ben Chiarot to pass Hall of Famer Mike Modano on the all-time points list for an American-born NHL player.

With three Stanley Cups and four All-Star appearances to go with his Conn Smythe (playoff MVP), Art Ross (season points-leader) and Hart Memorial (NHL MVP) trophies, Kane will likely be joining Modano in Toronto after his career.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the 35 American-born players to reach the 700-point milestone can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
