Friends, for the first time in several years, the Calgary Flames have no conditional draft selections left outstanding.
On Tuesday evening, the Florida Panthers beat the Edmonton Oilers in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final to capture the NHL’s league championship. By virtue of that victory, the Panthers are allocated the 32nd overall pick – the final pick – in the first round of the 2025 NHL Draft
But as a condition of a July 2022 trade with the Flames, Florida’s 2025 first-round pick has transferred to Calgary, so the Flames will select at 32nd overall.
With the 2025 Stanley Cup playoffs complete, we now know the placement of every single Flames draft choice in the 2025 draft!
Note 1: The Flames received this pick from New Jersey to complete a June 2024 trade. That trade sent Jacob Markstrom to New Jersey in exchange for Kevin Bahl and this pick.
