The dog days are here and with it comes a reasonable time for a pulse check on Toronto Maple Leafs fans. Work has been done but there may still be some work that needs to be done. The Shanahan era is over; the Pelley era has begun and with that there are certainly going to be some opinions. That’s why it seems like it is the perfect time farm some content from you our valued readers and take a look at the current and future state of the Leafs via the always scientific approach of a Google Forms survey.
The survey will run until July 24th and then after a couple of days of cleaning the data (please know in advance that your trade proposal of Morgan Rielly for a bag full of used hockey tape and lukewarm beer was original and hilarious) and throwing together some borderline pretty charts and graphs, we’ll share the results back to you.
Given the desire to avoid (or at least limit) the number of people looking to influence the survey with 100 responses heralding the Steven Lorentz contract as the move of the summer, you will be required to login to a google account to complete the survey but we will not be collecting the email addresses and you will not receive 40 emails from us discussing exciting timeshare opportunities in my basement.
Tell us what you really think of Brad Treliving, Craig Berube, and the 2025-26 Leafs roster. Who is going to shine. Who is going to fade. Where do the Leafs finish next season? What’s the one trade or signing that can fix everything? Dumping your unchecked Maple Leafs opinions on internet strangers is therapeutic, that’s why I write here. So, empty your brain of Leaf opinions while sipping on a Mai Tai on your favourite patio.
Once again, the link the survey is here.
