Vancouver Canucks fans might get their first look at a key piece of the J.T Miller trade return after the most recent roster moves announced by GM Patrik Allvin.

After being busy on the trade front all weekend, Canucks fans may soon get their first chance at seeing the final piece of the J.T Miller trade return: Victor Mancini.

Patrik Allvin announces lates roster transaction

The Vancouver Canucks announced on Tuesday that Victor Mancini had been recalled from Abbotsford, while Elias Pettersson (defenceman) and Linus Karlsson were also recalled in the same transaction.

Since being acquired as part of the J.T Miller trade, Mancini has not suited up for the Canucks or their AHL affiliate in Abbotsford, but he has been involved in several roster transactions already.

Mancini has been called up alongside Pettersson and Karlsson, who have played three and eight games, respectively, this season at the NHL level.

In 15 games with the Rangers this season, Mancini has tallied a goal and four assists, and the 22-year-old has 10 points in 23 games with AHL Hartford.

The Canucks beat the Avalanche at home by a score of 3-0 on Wednesday night. Mancini did not suit up and make his debut with the team.

The other players acquired over the weekend — Marcus Pettersson, Drew O'Connor, and Filip Chytil — have all played their first game with the Canucks.
