Vancouver Canucks Announce Preseason Schedule

On Friday afternoon, the Vancouver Canucks announced their 2024-25 preseason schedule.

It consists of six games and starts out facing the Seattle Kraken on September 24th, followed by the Calgary Flames on September 25th. The Canucks will hit the road after that to take on the Kraken again on September 27th in Seattle, followed by the Flames on September 28th in Calgary.

They will then face the Edmonton Oilers in home-and-home games on September 30th and October 4th for the first time since the second round of the Stanley Cup Finals, where they lost to the Oilers 4-3 in an attempt to advance to the third round. After the Oilers won the second round, they went on to defeat the Dallas Stars and advance to the Stanley Cup Final.

In addition to their two home games, they will return to the Abbotsford Centre for the fourth year in a row and will host the Calgary Flames on September 25th.

During the regular season, the Canucks faced the Kraken three times and lost two of those times. They played the Flames four times, holding a 3-1 record, and swept the Oilers every time they played them.
