Watch: Blues coach keeps cool as son goes crazy on scoreboard

St. Louis Blues assistant coach Steve Ott caught a glimpse of a young fan absolutely losing his mind on the scoreboard during the team's 3-1 win over the Minnesota Wild on Saturday night and it clearly hooked his attention.

It was not just some random fan, either.

It was his son, Maverick Ott. He somehow managed to hold it together without bursting out into laughter as his offspring ripped off his shirt, twirled it over his head, and psyched up the crowd.

Ott clearly cracks a smile when he notices what is happening and then keeps going back for more looks in what we can only imagine was a proud father moment.

Ott has been an assistant coach with the Blues since the 2017 season following his retirement from the NHL as a player. He was on the bench for the team's only Stanley Cup championship in the 2018-19 season.
