NHL great Wayne Gretzky is set to grace hockey fans' TV screens this weekend as an in-game analyst for Sunday's NHL Heritage Classic featuring the Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Sabres.
Sunday's tilt will mark the first time the Hall of Famer will be in the broadcast booth to call a game. He will team up with Eddie Olczyk and Keith Jones while Kenny Albert does play-by-play, NHL.com reported.
For outdoor game in Hamilton on Saturday, Wayne Gretzky will be part of game broadcast as an analyst with Kenny Albert and Eddie Olczyk instead of being part of studio show.

Gretzky's name has been creeping into headlines this week as Alex Ovechkin makes his way up the league's all-time goal-scorers list. On Tuesday, the Washington Capitals captain tied Jaromir Jagr for the third-most goals at 766 in a 5-4 win over the Calgary Flames on Tuesday. His next feat will be to reach Gordie Howe (801 goals) before setting his sights on Gretzky's record (894 goals).

Gretzky remains the untouchable points leader in NHL history with 2,857. The active player closest to catching that record is 42-year-old Joe Thornton, who sits in 12th place with 1,535. (Ovechkin is 24th on the list with 1,390 points.)
