Wiesblatt brothers fight during Predators’ intrasquad scrimmage

Oasiz, 22, is still looking for his NHL debut and is hoping to impress through the remainder of camp and into the preseason. The left-handed center scored 13 goals and 18 assists for 31 points in the AHL last season with the Milwaukee Admirals, but has yet to hit NHL ice. 

Ozzy, meanwhile, has 45 NHL games under his belt over the last two seasons, scoring a goal and five assists for six points. He, too, is looking to establish himself further, hoping to live up to the status that came with being the 31st overall pick in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. 

When the final buzzer sounded and the two intra-squad teams wrapped up a shootout, Oasiz’s Team White came away with the win, taking a last sliver of bragging rights over his brother from the early stages of the hockey season. 

With the first part of training camp wrapped up, the Predators are looking toward a four-game pre-season schedule that sees them take on the Tampa Bay Lightning and Carolina Hurricanes twice each before turning their focus to the NHL regular season and home opener against the Minnesota Wild on Oct. 1 at Bridgestone Arena.
