The Ottawa Charge supply us with no shortage of highlights, whether it’s their constant overtime heroics, Gwyneth Philips’s memeable moments, or fun off-ice antics.
Here are three of the top moments from the 2025–26 season.
Fanuza Kadirova was a fan-favourite from the start. For her birthday, all of her teammates imitated her iconic hairstyle at practice. No one can do it quite like the original, though.
Sceptres fans thought this was a guaranteed goal. Colour commentator Cheryl Pounder couldn’t believe it. But Gwyneth Philips made arguably the save of the season on December 4, 2025.

On May 18, 2026, the Ottawa Charge set a PWHL record for the highest attendance at a playoff game. A total of 16,894 fans attended the game at the Canadian Tire Centre.
The Charge had their season on the line this game—Montréal was up 2–0 in the series, so a loss would mean it was over. But this team has specialized in late-game comebacks over the last two seasons. Down 1–0 and with 5:30 left to go in the third, Peyton Hemp tied it up. Then, with just under a minute left, hometown hero Rebecca Leslie potted the game-winning goal to push the series to Game 4.
