The New York Giants are continuing to invest in their young core group of players.
Bringing in an experienced head coach in John Harbaugh was the main move, of course. Harbaugh has a Lombardi Trophy under his belt, and he's one of the most respected head coaches in the NFL.
Everyone from Jaxson Dart to Malik Nabers to Abdul Carter should benefit from Harbaugh's experience. Regarding Dart, the Giants made a move on Wednesday that will directly impact him.
According to Jordan Raanan of ESPN, the Giants are hiring former Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan as their new quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator.
Callahan, 41, was fired by the Titans in mid-October of the 2025 season after a 1-5 start. It was just his second season as the head coach in Tennessee and had a 4-19 record.

Although he didn't work out as a head coach, Callahan, a former quarterback at UCLA (2002-2005), had a stellar reputation as an assistant coach.
He was the quarterbacks coach for Matthew Stafford with the Detroit Lions in 2016 and 2017, and he spent a season as Derek Carr's quarterbacks coach with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2018.
Before he was hired by Tennessee, he spent four seasons as the offensive coordinator for Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals, so he's an assistant who can get the most out of a quarterback.
Former Chicago Bears head coach and longtime Kansas City Chiefs assistant Matt Nagy is now the offensive coordinator for New York, so the Giants are giving Dart a strong coaching combination.
Not only does he have Harbaugh at the top, but the two coaches who will directly impact his day-to-day, Nagy and Callahan, are former head coaches themselves.
The former No. 25 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Dart threw for 2,272 yards and 15 touchdowns compared to five interceptions in 14 games played during his rookie season. He also rushed for 487 yards and nine touchdowns.
