The 'Single-season passing leaders by team' quiz

What a difference a year has made for Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams.

As a rookie last season, the former No.1-overall pick started all 17 games for Chicago but went just 5-12 and the season ended with the firing of head coach Matt Eberflus. This year, with Ben Johnson in his first year as an NFL head coach, Williams set a Bears record with 3,942 passing yards to lead Chicago to an 11-6 record and the second seed in the NFC playoffs.

Despite the leap, Williams was critical of his offense heading into the postseason.

“Not good enough,” he said after scoring just 16 points in a defeat to the already-eliminated Detroit Lions.

“Not good enough to win this game, not good enough to win the upcoming games. We got to come out starting fast, being better.”

Which brings us to today’s quiz. While the Bears pursuit of their first 4,000-yard passer continues, a record-setting year combined with a playoff run featuring a win over division-rival Green Bay would be a massive success for Chicago. With that being said, can you name the quarterbacks with the most passing yards in a season for each NFL franchise?

Good luck!
