The NBA is set to return at Walt Disney World sometime between the end of July and mid-August, and while the excitement builds, one artist took things to the next level.
@pkairdesigns, located in Melbourne, Australia, has decided to recreate NBA team logos with a Disney twist...and they're unbelievable.
The first two logos she shared were renditions of the Boston Celtics with Mickey Mouse in place of the iconic Lucky the Leprechaun and the Milwaukee Bucks with Bambi in place of the Buck.
She followed up those designs by adding Rex from "Toy Story" to the Toronto Raptors logo and replaced the Golden Gate bridge with Sleeping Beauty Castle in the Warriors logo.
The artist got even more creative as she continued redesigning the logos. Bonzai the hyena from "The Lion King" replaces Crunch the Wolf in the Minnesota Timberwolves logo and Pumbaa replaces Benny the Bull in the Chicago Bulls logo.
The designer isn't done yet and has plenty more logos to spin in the coming days. You can keep up with her work by clicking here.
22 teams will return to action at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Disney World in the coming months, and latest reports suggest the playoffs won't begin until Aug. 18.
Whatever the case may be, the coronavirus pandemic is making for a wildly different postseason at "The Happiest Place On Earth" and it's something we may have otherwise never been able to experience if we weren't in this situation.
