Could Aaron Rodgers be a Raider in 2023? If Rodgers decides he wants out of Green Bay, Las Vegas is favored to become his next team, per Oddschecker.

Rodgers implied he's thinking about playing elsewhere Tuesday on the Pat Mcafee show. The 39-year-old quarterback said, "I believe I can win MVP again in the right situation... is that Green Bay or somewhere else? I'm not sure, and there's more conversations to be had."
While San Francisco's Jimmy Garoppolo and Tampa Bay's Brady are top targets, Rodgers is not off the Raiders' table. "Depending on how the situation plays out, he could also be an option," wrote Vincent Bonsignore of The Las Vegas Review-Journal.
Rodgers is a better choice than the 45-year-old Brady or injury-prone Garoppolo. He had a better 2022 passer rating (91.1) than Brady and started more games in three seasons (59) than Garoppolo has in his nine-year career.
And he already has chemistry with Raiders Pro Bowl wideout Davante Adams. Rodgers and Adams shared eight seasons in Green Bay. According to Statmuse, the duo connected for 69 touchdowns.
Landing Rodgers is an enticing idea, but it's a hypothetical one facing obstacles, specifically Rodgers' contract, and trade pieces.
Two years remain on Rodgers' deal with $150.8 million guaranteed. According to OverTheCap, the Raiders have $22.2 million in cap space.
While releasing Derek Carr three days after the Super Bowl saves the Raiders $50 million in cap space, via Tashan Reed of The Athletic, they still lack the space to accommodate Rodgers' salary. Also, a deal involving the four-time MVP would probably include their 2023 first-round draft pick (No.7 overall, per Tankathon)
However, Las Vegas general manager Dave Ziegeler likes risks. He traded a first-rounder for Adams last offseason. If Rodgers becomes available, he may throw his chips in.
