The Denver Broncos may want to inquire about Nuggets star Nikola Jokic’s interest in playing football.
Jokic looked every bit like a quarterback during one play in Game 5 of his team’s Western Conference semifinals clash against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Nuggets led 62-57 with under eight minutes to play at Ball Arena in Denver, Colo.
Jokic grabbed a rebound off a Timberwolves miss. Before the Serbian could even corral the ball properly, he immediately turned his head and flung a full-court pass to a streaking Jamal Murray for an uncontested dunk.

Even Murray couldn’t help but make the touchdown gesture NFL referees use to signal a successful TD.
The three-time NBA MVP has the heft of an offensive lineman. But Jokic basically serves as the QB for the Nuggets’ offense. The pass to Murray was Jokic’s third consecutive assist and capped off an 11-2 run for the Nuggets.
