Watch: Anthony Edwards throws down monstrous dunk in Game 3

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards detonated on another unsuspecting victim during Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals against the Dallas Mavericks.

The Timberwolves trailed the Mavericks 77-71 midway through the third quarter on Sunday at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

Edwards sauntered into the paint before suddenly rising up for the most vicious dunk of the postseason so far.

Mavericks center Daniel Gafford usually has impeccable timing when trying to contest shots at the rim. But Edwards’ explosive leaping ability appeared to catch the Dallas shot-blocker completely off guard. The Timberwolves star began his jump from well beyond the restricted area.

Edwards has built an impressive highlight reel of dunks throughout this season alone. The two-time All-Star also had the official NBA Dunk of the Year for his disrespectful dunk on Utah Jazz forward John Collins.

Edwards made a stern declaration before Game 3 as his Timberwolves entered the contest down 0-2 in the series. The poster jam on Gafford fell right in line with Edwards’ proclamation.
