Forward Wyatt Johnson scored Dallas' third goal in 3:33 when he found the puck moments after teammate Logan Stankoven got sandwiched by two Oilers defenders.

Despite the surge, Dallas has more work to do to take the crucial 2-1 series advantage. The wild second period took another turn when Edmonton center Adam Henrique scored with 53 seconds left to tie the game at 3-3 after two periods.
Per NHL.com, teams who win Game 3 in a best-of-seven series tied 1-1 have a .665 series win percentage (240-121), including a .766 win percentage (59-18) in the semifinals, making the next 20 minutes of hockey the most important both teams have played this season.
