It is official, the Carolina Hurricanes announced on Tuesday that they have signed forward Logan Stankoven to an eight-year, $48 million extension. The annual average value (AAV) will be $6 million per season and will kick in on July 1, 2026.

Forward Logan Stankoven made a long-term commitment to the Carolina Hurricanes by signing an eight-year, $48 million contract extension on Tuesday. Stankoven, 22, recorded 38 points (14 goals, 24 assists) and five game-winning goals in 78 games last season, including nine points (five goals, four assists) in 19 games with the Hurricanes.
