On Wednesday, a video clip featuring New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers during the team's OTA practice was shared online by SportsNet New York, and, unsurprisingly, it raised a few eyebrows.

The beginning of the clip shows Rodgers getting some attention on his right foot from the Jets training staff. Then the clip ends with New York's veteran quarterback taking part in two practice reps that required him to roll out of the pocket, and there didn't seem to be any sign of him suffering from a significant injury.
Despite SNY mentioning in their caption for the video post that Rodgers continued to practice on Wednesday "without issue" after the team's training staff attended to him, one can bet that the clip definitely increased the level of stress throughout the Jets fan base.
New York just dealt with a gigantic letdown last year when Rodgers tore his left Achilles during the team's very first offensive drive of the 2023 regular season.
Luckily, some relief was provided to the New York fan base on Thursday when Pat McAfee, a close acquaintance of Rodgers, revealed during "The Pat McAfee Show" that a source shared with him that the quarterback was receiving some blister prevention treatment from the team's training staff.
With Rodgers expected to be available for the 2024 season, expectations are back to being high for New York. The Jets haven't had a winning record since 2015, and they haven't won a playoff game since 2010.
Now that Rodgers will be back under center, New York will be looking to snap both of those streaks and possibly even emerge as a legitimate Super Bowl contender in the AFC during the upcoming season.
