The Titans are hoping quarterback Will Levis makes a big jump in Year 2. The No. 33 overall pick in 2023 flashed his upside last season, throwing for 1,808 yards, eight touchdowns and four interceptions in nine games.
Tennessee has done its part this offseason, too, giving Levis two new weapons in veteran wide receivers Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd to pair with five-time Pro Bowler DeAndre Hopkins.
Boyd has only been on the team for a few weeks after signing a one-year deal with the Titans last month, but he believes Levis no longer has to play hero ball thanks to Tennessee's active offseason.
"I know he can go out there and play football," Boyd said. "And another thing I know, he kind of probably went out there and tried to do too much. But now he got guys. I think he can cut it back a little bit, relax and just rely more on his playmakers."

There's no arguing that the Titans wide receiver room is much improved.
Hopkins, Chris Moore and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine led the Titans wide receivers with a combined 125 catches for 1,851 yards and 10 touchdowns last season while the new-look group of Hopkins, Ridley and Boyd combined for 218 catches for 2,740 yards and 17 touchdowns.
This isn't to say they will put up similar numbers since they will now have to share targets on the same team, but Levis has much higher-quality options that can do the hard work for him.
Boyd acknowledged Levis is still learning the offense with a new regime taking over under head coach Brian Callahan, so the offense won't be clicking on all cylinders right away.
However, Boyd believes it's only a matter of time before the new-look unit is more familiar with the offense and each other.
"I think the most important thing for the whole group is to just be unselfish," Boyd added. "I think once we bond and get that chemistry, I think things will go so much smoother."
If Levis' new playmakers can be just that, Tennessee could catch a lot of teams by surprise this season in an AFC South that seems to be wide open.
