There are a lot of things that can briefly bring a Major League Baseball game to a halt. Weather, bees or perhaps even just a random fan that decides to make themselves a part of the action and runs on the field.
On Sunday afternoon in Baltimore there was a new entry on the list of things that can halt things on the diamond — a fighter jet flyover.
As Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Spencer Turnbull was waiting to deliver a pitch to Orioles designated hitter Ryan O'Hearn, a thunderous roar was taking place overhead and catching the attention of both fans and players.
It turned out to be a fighter jet doing some maneuvers as part of Baltimore's Fleet Week celebration this weekend.

To be fair, that would be distracting if you were a player on the field. Not only because of the noise, but also because it looked really cool.
Turnbull ended up striking out O'Hearn in that at-bat to end the inning.
