Since the end of May, Christopher Bell and the No. 20 team have been the hottest in NASCAR.
Bell only has one finish worse than 13th over the last eight races, and over the last six events, he's led 457 laps, won two races and won eight stages.
On Saturday, Bell was asked about the No. 20 team's run and the secret to their speed.

"I think my team has just been doing a good job of giving me what I need in the car," Bell said. "Through the beginning part of the season, we were working with the new lead engineer, Chris Knight. Some weeks we'd hit it, some weeks we wouldn't. It seems like now, more weeks than not, we're hitting it. My cars are really fast. That's what it boils down to."
Bell will look to continue his summer run in Sunday's Grant Park 165. In last year's Chicago Street Race, Bell won both Stage 1 and Stage 2, though pit strategy and a shortened race relegated him to an 18th-place finish. Bell also led more laps than any other driver in last year's race, maintaining the lead for 37 circuits.
Bell was 13th fastest in Saturday's practice session and qualified seventh for Sunday's race.
Bell will be looking for a series-leading fourth win of 2024 when the green flag drops on Sunday afternoon. The Grant Park 165 will go green shortly after 4:30 p.m. ET, with coverage on NBC, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
