Another of the NFL's top wide receivers is getting a big contract.
The Chicago Bears and wide receiver D.J. Moore agreed to a new four-year, $110 million extension on Tuesday that also carries more than $82 million in guarantees.
Along with being one of the richest contracts in NFL history for a wide receiver, it is also the largest contract ever handed out in the history of the Bears franchise.

The Bears acquired Moore before the 2023 season in a blockbuster trade with the Panthers that sent the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 draft to Carolina. The Panthers used that pick to select quarterback Bryce Young. It turned out to be an incredible trade for the Bears as it not only brought them a bonafide No. 1 wide receiver, but it also gave them a 2024 first-round pick that also turned out to be the No. 1 overall pick. Chicago used that pick to select quarterback Caleb Williams.
In his first season with the Bears, Moore caught 96 passes for 1,364 yards and eight touchdowns. All of those numbers were career highs, and he did that despite getting very inconsistent quarterback play.
The Bears offense has the potential to take a huge step forward this season with the arrival of Williams, wide receivers Rome Odunze (also a top-10 pick) Keenan Allen and running back D'Andre Swift.
Moore is the ninth wide receiver to sign a contract that averages more than $17 million per season this offseason.
With Moore locked in, the focus now turns to Cincinnati's Ja'Marr Chase, Dallas' CeeDee Lamb, Miami's Tyreek Hill and San Francisco's Brandon Aiyuk, all of whom are looking for new big-money deals.
