Indiana Fever guard Lexie Hull was the unexpected hero on Sunday vs. the Seattle Storm, as she iced the game late in the fourth quarter.
With 4:42 remaining in the game and the Fever up 75-69, Hull drilled a 24-foot three-pointer in the corner. On the ensuing possession, she drilled another three. The Fever went on a 14-6 run after Hull's second jumper, securing a 92-75 win.

Hull finished with a season-high 22 points and one rebound in 21 minutes played. She also shot 6-of-7 from beyond the arc.
Hull — the sixth overall pick of the 2022 WNBA Draft — has struggled to become a consistent contributor through her first three seasons with the Fever, only averaging 4.1 points per game on 33.2% shooting. Perhaps she can use her performance against Seattle as a springboard.
The Fever feature star rookie guard Caitlin Clark, but she still needs more help, especially in a tight playoff race. After a slow start, Indiana (13-15) has won six of its last 10 games and climbed into seventh in the WNBA.
