Manchester City's Erling Haaland has looked unstoppable through the club's first three English Premier League matches.
So much so that he set a record on Saturday in the team's 3-1 victory at West Ham with a second hat trick. On the heels of a hat trick against Ipswitch Town, Haaland is now up to seven goals, setting an EPL record for scoring through the first three matches of a season.

Those two hat tricks give him 11 since joining Manchester City at the start of the 2022 season. He is also just the second player in EPL history to record hat tricks in consecutive matches on two separate occasions. (Harry Kane is the other player to accomplish that feat.)
City is already off to a 3-0 start as it looks to defend its latest EPL title, with Haaland scoring seven of the club's first nine goals.
Manchester City has won each of the past four EPL titles and six out of the past seven overall. If Haaland keeps finishing the way he is, the club could be on its way to an unprecedented fifth consecutive title.
