It's safe to say that the Buffalo Bills running back James Cook is having one of the best games of his career against the Miami Dolphins on "Thursday Night Football." Meanwhile, the third-year rusher has played only a half of football.
With 3:36 left in the second quarter and the Bills leading 17-7, Cook exploded for a 49-yard rushing touchdown, his third score of the game.

The miraculous run was Cook's second rushing touchdown of the game, scoring from one yard out with 6:25 left in the second quarter. The 24-year-old has recorded two rushing scores in each of his first two seasons in the league, meaning he's already matched his single-season career high through just two quarters.
Cook's first score came just 5:11 into the game, giving the Dolphins a 7-0 lead early. Following a Tua Tagovailoa interception, the Bills running back got involved in the passing game, hauling in a 17-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Josh Allen on fourth down to kick off the scoring.
The Bills took a 24-10 lead over the Dolphins into halftime, unsurprisingly led by Cook's incredible efforts. At the break, he had 60 rushing yards (five carries), averaging 12.0 per carry with two touchdowns, along with one catch for 17 yards and a score.
