The Eagles have a gem at cornerback.
Philadelphia's 2024 first-round pick, Quinyon Mitchell, had an early pass breakup on Monday night against Atlanta.
Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins targeted wide receiver Drake London on an out route on a third-and-four from Atlanta's 31-yard line.
Mitchell got a nice break on the pass and nearly intercepted it along the sideline.

The pass breakup made up for a whiff on Falcons running back Bijan Robinson three plays earlier.

The Eagles selected Mitchell with the No. 22 overall pick in April's NFL Draft. He was one of the country's top corners at Toledo, allowing a 44.1 percent catch rate and no touchdowns in 2023. (h/t Pro Football Focus)
Per PFF data, he's allowed five receptions on 10 targets so far in the NFL, including his third down stop on "Monday Night Football."
