Daniel Jones produces bizarre first-half stat line against Commanders

The New York Football Giants have had some wacky, terrible football moments this season.

Things looked to be turning a corner on Sunday when quarterback Daniel Jones threw his first touchdown pass at MetLife Stadium in 672 days against the division rival Washington Commanders.

Despite ending his horrendous home streak, Jones and the Giants still went to the halftime locker room down 21-7.

Jones' stat line at the break had fans and pundits scratching their heads pondering how it was even possible.

You're reading that correctly. Jones had a grand total of zero passing yards despite completing four-of-six attempts and finding the endzone.

Three of those completions totaled for just six yards, two of them coming from the touchdown throw, and the fourth negated those gains entirely.

It's a rare occasion but entirely possible in the NFL given yardage can be revoked if a pass is completed and the receiver is downed behind the line of scrimmage.
