Terrell Suggs, Earl Thomas, Adam Vinatieri, Richmond Webb and Marshal Yanda are the other first-time semifinalists.

17 candidates who were semifinalists in 2024 were also picked to be semifinalists this time including: Eric Allen, Jared Allen, Willie Anderson, Anquan Boldin, Jahri Evans, Antonio Gates, James Harrison, Rodney Harrison Torry Holt, Robert Mathis, Steve Smith Jr., Fred Taylor, Hines Ward, Ricky Watters, Reggie Wayne, Vince Wilfork, Steve Wisniewski and Darren Woodson.

The group of semi-finalists will be narrowed down to 15 finalists in December with an additional five candidates being selected from the seniors, coach and contributors categories.

The 2025 class, which the Pro Football Hall of Fame stipulates will induct between four and eight new members, will be announced during the NFL Honors in New Orleans during Super Bowl week in February.
