There’s no time like the last minute to improve your fantasy roster. Finding quality players this late in the season is difficult but not impossible. Here’s the best of what’s left for Week 12.
TE: Noah Gray (Kansas City Chiefs)
Tight end Travis Kelce has led Kansas City in receiving yards six times since joining the Chiefs. He still leads the team with 507 yards in 2024, but lately, he’s getting more help from Gray, the team’s fifth-round pick in 2021.
Gray saw a season-high five targets against the Bills last week, catching four of them for 23 yards and two touchdowns. His 18.3 fantasy points are sixth-most among tight ends. Kelce is still the third-leading tight end in fantasy football with 122.8 points, but these days, he’s sharing the field more with Gray.

With the team using more two-tight end sets, Gray has been on the field for 62% of offensive snaps, compared to 10% last season. He still trails Kelce by 141 snaps, but he’s clearly gaining the trust of quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
This week the Chiefs travel to Carolina to face a (3-7) Panthers allowing a league-worst 31 points per game and second-most fantasy points per contest (16.72) to tight ends. That leaves plenty of room for Kansas City’s second-best tight end to put up numbers while serving as an ideal handcuff for Kelce owners.

TE: Isaiah Likely (Baltimore Ravens)
Earlier in the year, it seemed like Mark Andrews (a three-time Pro-Bowler) would be a handcuff to Likely. While Andrews took six weeks to post a double-digit score, Likely led all tight ends in Week 1 with 26.1 fantasy points after a nine-catch, 111-yard performance against the Chiefs.
He’d eventually take a backseat to Andrews and missed the Ravens’ Week 10 matchup against the Bengals with a hamstring injury but led Baltimore with four catches for 75 yards in the team’s 18-16 loss to the Steelers last week.
Andrews and Likely have each seen 39 targets this year, but Likely has played one fewer game. As long as quarterback Lamar Jackson continues to look his way, Likely is worth a look with tight ends like Evan Engram, Taysom Hill and Kyle Pitts out on bye weeks.

Tampa Bay (DEF)
Tampa’s defense hasn’t posted a double-digit fantasy score since putting up 17 fantasy points against the Saints in Week 6, but the Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito hasn’t started a game since last season.
Now that Daniel Jones has played his last game as a Giant, DeVito will look to turn around an offense scoring a league-worst 15.6 points per game against the Buccaneers this week. With eight interceptions in six starts last season, he could single-handedly win matchups for anyone with Tampa's defense in their lineups.
